Atomic Clock
The atomic clock is a most accurate time keeping device. Electronically encoded time signals are broadcast from Rugby to cover mainland UK. The signal is picked up by the radio receiver circuit in the atomic clock. This is then decoded to synchronise the time to within a split second precision. The radio signal automatically sets the calendar and daylight saving or standard time.
